Le Marché de la Mer

Interstore | Schweitzer has transformed E.Leclerc’s fish shop in the French coastal town of Olonne-sur-Mer into a store with its own unique brand identity. The French retail chain has built a spacious 450 m² market hall – a true Marché de la Mer. Residents and tourists can choose from an extensive range of fish and seafood. Le Marché de la Mer opened at the beginning of December 2018.

The new fish market radiates modern elegance and urban nonchalance. A blue color scheme and materials such as glass and stone immerse the customer in a maritime atmosphere.

“Honest. Natural. Simply good.”
– That’s the motto of Edeka Kempermarkt, which operates several branches in the Münster region. It was also the guiding principle when it came to designing the new, modern Kempermarkt in Ahlen.

The new Edeka Kempermarkt, which opened on November 22, 2018, showcases around 16,000 items across 2,500 m² of sales space. The emphasis is on freshness, quality and a regional outlook.

Interstore | Schweitzer has modernized Marktkauf Loddenheide, creating a successful blend of new and old. The client, Edeka Rhein-Ruhr, wanted a fresher look, a new layout for clearer orientation, and more modern communication.

The redesigned Marktkauf, with 10,000 m² of sales space, opened on November 27, 2018. Parts of the original concept, developed by Interstore |Schweitzer 10 years ago, were carried over into the modernized appearance, and were expanded and upgraded with new elements and ideas.

New York hat jetzt ein Nutella-Café:
Auf 150 Quadratmetern gibt es Crêpes, Backwaren und Fan-Artikel rund um den süßen Aufstrich. Der Sitzbereich dient zeitgleich als Eventfläche für Koch-Shows.

Zwar gibt es bereits einen gleichnamigen Laden in Chicago, die New Yorker Filiale ist allerdings vom Ladenbauer Interstore neu gestaltet worden.

Attractive and appealing: the new Edeka Center in Rostock combines freshness and expertise. Interstore | Schweitzer transformed the former Marktkauf Center in Warnow Park into an Edeka Center for Edeka Nord, completely redesigning the overall concept. The sales area for foodstuffs in the 7,500 m² center was doubled and the non-food range streamlined. The focus on freshness comes through in the layout, which leads customers through a “freshness area” at the entrance of the supermarket. The concept, the new range and a lovingly constructed children’s play corner make the center, which opened on November 30, 2018, the ideal supermarket for urban families.

Fans have been waiting a very long time for this – a Nutella café in New York City! Only two Nutella cafés in the entire world are operated by Ferrero, and this is one of them. From mid-November 2018, we invite you enjoy the crêperie and pâtisserie in the 150 square meter café.

The seating area can also be used as an event space for kitchen shows. And of course, the brand mecca can‘t be without a merchandise shop. Fans can even take part in the consummate Nutella experience themselves by sharing photos to the Nutella Instagram wall.

In the E center Stroetmann in Hiltrup, the focus is on freshness. Interstore developed the entire concept for the center, which reopened in August 2018, using its comprehensive 360° approach. In future, selected elements of the new concept will also be used to provide a fresh look and appealing shopping experience at other locations.

The design focuses the attention on the products themselves: the store layout and the completely new graphic design, which uses modern LED icons instead of images and text, increases the impact of the range. Product areas, such as the central island with a bread and cheese counter, carefully place the focus on selected products. The u-shaped layout leads customers past every area of the 2,500 m²-large center, beginning with the convenience products located by the entrance.

Mit einem riesigen medialen Hype ist kürzlich das „Nutella Cafe” in New York eröffnet worden. Das Konzept und Design stammen von der zur Naturnser Schweit­zer-Gruppe gehörenden Agen­tur Interstore mit Sitz in Zürich, auch die Realisierung lag in den Händen der Schweitzer Project.
