Client: Dunnes Stores – Stephen’s Green
Location: Dublin IRL
Store Design: Interstore
Build: Schweitzer Project
Store Area: 2,300 m2
Opening: March 2016
After the successful opening of Fashion and Food, the upper floor with the Home, Kids and Lingerie departments followed. The traditional Irish retail store chain now presents also these departments in a new look on about 2’300m².
The newly developed concept marks the beginning of a new era for Dunnes Stores and draws the shoppers’ attention to the range of exclusive designer brands. Dunnes Stores has been collaborating with Irish designers for years and the exclusive collections are only available at Dunnes Stores.
So the objective of the concept was to focus on the designer brands and Dunnes Stores’ own brands. From Carolyn Donnelly and Paul Costelloe Living in the Home department to Leigh Tucker Willow at Kids, the designer brands now take up a larger part of the sales area than before and are carefully positioned as highlights.
The store design, the whole in-store communication as well as all visual merchandising elements were harmonized, resulting in a consistent overall Picture.
